Dr Elizabeth Tan is a paediatric dentist at Parkway East Hospital, Singapore.
She practised hospital-based dentistry at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, working closely with medical doctors for sick children, particularly those undergoing surgery and cancer treatment. She is currently a visiting consultant at Margaret Drive Special School.
She graduated from the National University of Singapore. After graduation, she worked as a dental officer with the Ministry of Health, rotating between the National Dental Centre of Singapore and polyclinics. She also has a master’s degree in child dental health at Bristol University, UK.
Dr Tan is a founding member of the Society for Paediatric Dentistry (Singapore). She has been practising medicine for more than 40 years.
She is also involved in community service as a founding-cum-consultant paediatric dentist at both the Margaret Drive Special School and the Asian Women’s Welfare Association.
