Dr Sin Gwen Li is a psychiatrist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
Her special interests are in old-age psychiatry, cognitive disorders and sleep medicine.
Prior to joining private practice, she was a senior consultant psychiatrist at Singapore General Hospital, where she honed her skills in general and consultation-liaison psychiatry.
Dr Sin graduated with bachelor's degrees from the National University of Singapore (NUS) as well as a master’s degree in psychiatry. She received the Health Manpower Development Plan award and completed a year-long clinical fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the University of Toronto and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Canada.
Besides her clinical work, she was also a clinical senior lecturer at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and an adjunct assistant professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. She has conducted numerous lectures and courses on mental health and cognitive disorders for medical staff in psychiatry, geriatric, palliative and family medicine residents as well as community workers.
Dr Sin is a recipient of several awards including the Singapore Health Quality Service Award and the Service with a Heart Award.
