Dr Damian Png is a urological surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospital and Parkway East Hospital, Singapore.
His special interests are in minimally invasive urology including endourology for stones and laparoscopy for tumours, andrology including microsurgical techniques, and reconstructive urology with a focus on urinary stone treatment, prostate conditions and urinary strictures.
He was a former consultant urologist at the National University Hospital.
Dr Png obtained his bachelor and master’s degrees from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He then underwent advanced urological training in Singapore as well as subspecialty training in reconstructive urology in the UK, and laparoscopic and endourology in Germany. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK in general surgery.
He is also an accredited renal transplant surgeon. He is the honorary treasurer and executive committee member of the Singapore Urological Association, and a member of The Transplantation Society.
He continues to be an assistant professor at NUS. At NUS, he was active in research and conducted several multicentre trials on benign prostate hyperplasia, impotence, chronic prostatitis, prostate cancer and urinary incontinence.
He has been published in urological literature including local and international peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.
