Dr Cho Li Wei is an endocrinologist at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.
She is experienced in managing patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, male and female reproductive endocrinology, calcium disorders, Vitamin D and electrolyte imbalances, pituitary and adrenal diseases, hypertension, obesity and lipid disorders.
Prior to joining private practice, Dr Cho was a consultant endocrinologist at Changi General Hospital (CGH), and the programme director for diabetes at the Eastern Health Alliance health management unit.
She graduated from the University of Glasgow, UK and obtained her membership to the Royal College of Physicians, UK. She has a dual accreditation in diabetes and endocrinology, as well as in general internal medicine. She was also awarded her doctorate from the University of Hull, UK, in diabetes and endocrinology, and holds a master’s in public health from the University of Hong Kong. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London, UK and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. She has more than 20 years of experience.
Aside from her medical duties, Dr Cho was a clinical senior lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and an adjunct assistant professor at Duke-NUS Medical School.
She has published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals with over 600 citations in scientific articles.
