Intensive care unit (ICU)

Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
The neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) specialises in the monitoring and care of ill or premature newborn infants. The NICU also admits babies with congenital problems or trauma during delivery.
Our NICU provides the following services:
- Newborn screening
- Neonatal intensive and special care
- Standby team for high-risk deliveries
- High-risk and birth defect consultations
- Neonatal neurodevelopmental follow-up monitoring of premature newborn infants
- Specialist outpatient consultation

Day surgery centre
At our day surgery centres, you can:
- Access our team of experienced healthcare professionals. Our multidisciplinary team includes surgeons, anaesthesiologists and registered nurses.

Operating theatre
At Parkway East Hospital, each of our operating rooms are designed to provide seamless care for you and your family.
These operating rooms are located on the same level as the intensive care unit (ICU) and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to meet your healthcare needs efficiently. They have been specially designed to accommodate both adult and paediatric (children) patients in cases of emergency.
